If you’ve been going through a bit of Doctor Who withdrawal since the Christmas Special this year and can’t wait until season seven premieres in the fall I’ve found just the thing for you.  It’s a Doctor Who mini-episode (mini-Who) that just aired on the CBBC (Children’s BBC) earlier this week.  It’s script was written by some British children as the Ashdene school and the script was hand selected by Steven Moffat himself and other producers.  I love that Doctor Who is accessible to elementary school students. It means a whole new generation will grow up with the joy that Doctor Who has brought so many people.

It’s Olympic themed, for the London 2012 Olympics of course.  It features Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as the Doctor and Amy respectively.  It even has a Weeping Angel as the villain.  The Angel wants to destroy the hope that the Olympic flame brings – Oh No!! It’s about 3 minutes long and you can watch after the break below.  What do you think?
