I love the power of social media.  It’s such a great way to discover things you wouldn’t have been able to discover elsewhere.  In this particular case I have to thank tumblr (yes, you can follow us on tumblr too) for this discovery.  You may remember that a week or so ago I posted some official Man of Steel artwork for you all to check out.  Then I got a random reblog (or like) on tumblr from a user called dcplanet and I decided to check out his blog.

Well I’m glad I did because he has some awesome stuff out there.  It’s a site dedicated to DC comics fan artwork.  He gathers up all the cool stuff he sees and puts it in one place for us to check out.  I think you’d like them even if you’re not a comic book fan cause there is just some great artwork plus it has all your favorite blockbuster heroes too.  He’s also a good steward giving credit and credits each artist for each post.  So check him out at dc-planet.com.  Find something you like and feel free to patronize the artists as well.  Enjoy this find as much as I have.  The artwork is pretty dang cool.  Here’s one example below (click through for artist credit).
