Many of us know the story behind Angry Birds – pigs stole bird’s eggs and now the birds are angry that they have to kill the pigs by slinging themselves off slingshots. It’s one of the most popular games ever on iOS and very popular on the Android platform, though I don’t know how to look that up (I’m an iPhone guy). Two versions of the game currently sit on the top 5 of paid apps for both the iPhone and iPad. A large subset of this group also knows how addicting the games can be. I for one have spent many hours of my life playing. Many of those probably wasted.

I came across this gem of a video today and felt compelled to share. T-mobile decided to see what Angry Birds in real life looked and used it as a promotional video. It was really awesome. They tied the screen of a phone to a gigantic screen and an air cannon and shot physical birds at physical pigs sometimes behind physical barriers. When you made a move on the handset it launched the physical birds. It is really awesome. There was live music from a 12 piece band and the birds and pigs even exploded.
